CLAUDE MARQUIS
Ottawa Artist Painting & Music
Music Collection
This collection brings together the recorded work of Claude MarQuis across three projects: The PepTides, the nine-member Ottawa ensemble he founded as main songwriter — twice named Ottawa's Best Band and known for their theatrical, high-energy live performances; General Malaise, his solo alter ego project; and MarQuis SongBook, his early intimate recordings. Together they span nearly two decades of genre-defying pop, theatrical soul, and richly produced solo work — more than a hundred original songs in total.
